Professional Consulting Technologies, LLC Awarded IDIQ Contract with VA for VECTOR Program

Columbus, OH (May 10, 2018): PROCON is proud to announce that we are furthering our relationship with the Department of Veterans Affairs, with a recently awarded IDIQ contract for its VECTOR (Veteran Enterprise Contracting for Transformation and Operational Readiness) program. The contract length is five years, plus a five-year option period (10 years total), with a $25 billion ceiling.

We are performing as a subcontractor to the prime contractor, Applied Development, LLC. Contract performance requirement includes six different service areas and PROCON is included in two group offerings: Service Group-2-Analysis and Service Group 3-Training. PROCON comprehensive Department of Veteran Affairs experience in the selected groups was instrumental in our ability to successfully support this winning bid.

Automatic Transfer Switch

PROCON Awarded Department of Veteran Affairs (Missouri) Automatic Transfer Switch Maintenance Contract

Columbia, MO (April 18, 2018):  Professional Consulting Technologies, LLC (D.B.A. PROCON), announced it been awarded a four year contract with 1 option year, with the Department of Veteran Affairs, Networking Contracting Office 10; PRIME contract#36C25518P2008. Under the contract, PROCON will perform Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) Maintenance and Services for the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, located in Columbia, MO.

PROCON factory trained engineers are overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of VA facility Automatic Transfer Switches of various vendors, including ASCO, Zenith, and Metron; additional contract responsibilities include:

  • Preventive maintenance and Service
  • Emergency power procedures
  • ATS Testing
  • Circuit alignment
  • Capacitor adjustments
  • Operational and transfer loads to emergency power in the event of a normal power outage.

PROCON awarded GSA Federal Contract: Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Training

Ohio, Indiana and Michigan (March 30, 2018): Professional Consulting Technologies, LLC (D.B.A. PROCON), announced today it been awarded a General Service Administration (GSA) IT 70 Training Contract to by the Department of Veteran Affairs, Networking Contracting Office 10, Contract# 47QTCA18D0083. PROCON will provide necessary Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant Forklift Operator Training, Certification, and Train-the-Trainer re-certification training to the VA Material Handlers at multiple VA Medical Centers.

PROCONs leadership are excited about this opportunity given it was awarded its GSA contract less than 3 weeks ago. Our ability to deliver unique training at the federal level demonstrate our ability to provide professional services and training at the highest-levels in the federal, state, and local space.

It is an accepted premise that the operation of a Fork Truck is a potentially dangerous process unless accomplished by a trained and proficient operator.  Statistics of accidents and fatalities associated with operation of these vehicles in workplace environments dictated the development of the OSHA standard.  Our training promotes safe operation of the vehicle(s), enhances the performance potential of the operator(s), and minimizes both maintenance costs and potential liability and covers key points, including:

  • Overview of Forklift Safety
  • Vehicle Inspection prior to operation
  • Set up and equipment prior to lifting and movement
  • Traveling with and without a load
  • Pallets and stacking
  • Loading and unloading
  • Travel in uncommon circumstances
  • Reporting maintenance problems
  • Backing
  • Seat Belt Usage
  • Successful completion of written test
  • Successful demonstration of proficiency with the vehicle under simulated driving conditions

Federal, state, and local government agencies can now engage PROCON on Information Technology/Security and Training Course(s) needs as a uniquely-approved service provider.  

March 6, 2018 (Akron, Ohio): Professional Consulting Technologies, LLC (D.B.A. PROCON), a provider of comprehensive information technology and cyber security solutions for Federal Government enterprises, announced today it has been awarded a U.S. Government Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) 70 contract# 47QTCA18D0083, with a period of performance of March 6, 2018 thru March 5, 2023. The GSA MAS is a streamlined resource of preferred vendors that offer the tools and expertise needed to shorten procurement cycles, ensure compliance and drive value around technology products, services and solutions for federal agencies.

About GSA IT 70 SCHEDULE 

IT Schedule 70 is a 5-year contract issued by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to a commercial technology vendor.  Award of a Schedule contract signifies that the GSA has determined that the vendor’s pricing is fair and reasonable and the vendor is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Purchasing from pre-approved vendors allows agencies to cut through red tape and receive goods and services faster.

Awarded vendors undergo a rigorous application process, including the negotiation of fair and reasonable prices, to win a GSA Schedule contract. IT Schedule 70 is one of 62 GSA Schedules and the GSA’s largest contracting schedule. Contracts can be renewed three times, which offers a potential 20-year contract.  According to Federal Schedules, in fiscal year 2017, GSA Schedule sales to federal, state, and local government buyers exceeded $45 billion, coming in at $45,097,514,584 to be exact.

PROCON is now approved by the GSA to provide Information Technology Professional Services and Training Courses under the GSA IT Schedule Special Item Number (SIN) 132-50 and 132-51. Additionally, the contract is currently being modified to add much needed services that include:

  • Cloud Computing Services: SIN 132-40
  • Wireless Services: SIN 132-53
  • Highly Adaptive Cyber Security Services (HACS): SIN 132-45A-D

PROCON Awarded Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Maintenance Contract

Battle Creek, MI (February 16, 2018): Professional Consulting Technologies, LLC (D.B.A. PROCON), a provider of comprehensive information technology and cyber security solutions for Federal Government enterprises, announced today it has been awarded a prime contract#SP4510-18-P-0007 to provide Uninterruptible Power Supply (“UPS”) Systems maintenance and electrical upgrades to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services-Hart-Dole-Inouye (HDI) Federal Center building in Battle Creek, Michigan.

As the prime contractor, PROCON will analyze the existing infrastructure to design and implement a new system in accordance with DLA facility standards.
